EMU High School Student Summer Science Research Program
3 Week Mentored Research Project
June 25 - July 16
This one-of-a-kind camp offers high school students, in teams of two, to be matched with a faculty and student mentor on a research project in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics. They will learn how to:
Perform experimental techniques
Use the process of scientific research
Gather and record data
Interpret their findings
Communicate their research
Apply science lab safety
Uphold research ethics
And Prepare and present an effective scientific presentation
There are 9 faculty led projects, so space is very limited. Every effort will be made to match high school students’ interests with research projects.
